About Us

Our remote Bed & Breakfast is a fantastic base for exploring and birdwatching, fishing and nature. We are unique in that you have a designated guest lounge, where you can sit comfortably, grab a complimentary coffee or tea and observe the wonderful sea view and ever changing weather. We have a lot of local knowledge, especially about birdwatching and fishing locations. As we are a Bed and Breakfast facility we do not offer evening meals and we cannot offer self-catering facilities. There are lots of places to eat or get food from on the mainland of Shetland before you catch the short ferry across to Yell. Alternatively, we are next door to the Aywick shop and there are a few cafes and restaurants on Yell, however, their opening times and closing times can vary, please check their websites and updates.

We offer a variety of breakfasts, prepared to your preference between 0800 and 0830 hrs Monday to Friday and 0830 until 0930hrs at weekends.
